FAQ

How to get Instagram photos featured?

Use hash tag #instatagsapp on your Instagram photos.

How to like a photo?

Double tap on a photo to mark it liked. You will see the heart indicator turn red.

How to unlike a photo?

Tap the red heart, you will see the heart indicator dim to white.

How to scroll to the top of the page?

Tap the header bar or the status bar.

Do you need an Instagram account to use the app?

Yes, a registered Instagram account is required.

Do you need the Instagram app installed?

Yes, it is required for InstaTags app to export tags into Instagram content window.
Note: Tags are automatically placed into the iOS clipboard and ready to be pasted to location of your choice.

How to access the main menu?

The menu is accessible from any page on the app. To view the menu simply swipe (left to right) at any location on your device's screen.

How many tags can I use when posting to Instagram?

Please note that there is a tag limit of 30 per post imposed by Instagram.

Why don't I see my tags on my posted photo on Instagram?

Please make sure to have your account set to public. Private accounts will not be able to tag their own posts.

How to import multiple hashtags into a category?

Create or open a category in which you would like to add the new hashtags. From the actions menu paste a string of multiple hashtags into the input field and tap save. The app will take care of the rest, even tell you which tags are already added into the category and skip them.
